How we work together

From first conversation to delivery

Indicative 12-week project timetable. We agree the stages and timing with you during scoping.

  1. Weeks 1 to 2

    Scoping note

We start with your priorities, agree the scope and provide a fixed quote.

    Your contribution

Two conversations: the sponsor, then the people who will operate the method.

  2. Weeks 2 to 5

    Obligation map and evidence review

Each obligation scoped to your entities, each existing control and document tested against it. We turn the gaps into clear decisions and next steps.

    Your contribution

Your policies, reports and relevant supplier or emissions data.

  3. Weeks 5 to 10

    Controls, owners and records

Controls designed with the teams that will operate them, owners named, records set up in your tools.

    Your contribution

Decisions within two weeks of each proposal; site access where visits are planned.

  4. Weeks 10 to 12

    Handover and review

Your team operates the method with us alongside, then independently.

    Your contribution

Half a day with each owner, and a date for the first review.

Specialist support

Legal opinion on scoping

Where a formal legal opinion is needed, we agree the scope and choice of external counsel with you before any work is commissioned.

DPIA and privacy engineering review

For tools that process personal data: the assessment, the safeguards and the record.

ISO/IEC 42001 readiness check

How far your AI management system is from certifiable, and what closes the gap.

Sustainability reporting readiness

We review data sources, responsibilities and supporting records, identify gaps and help your team prepare for external assurance.

Carbon accounting

We define inventory boundaries, collect data and calculate Scope 1, 2 and relevant Scope 3 emissions, documenting methods and assumptions using the GHG Protocol.

Climate targets and SBTi support

We help develop science-based targets, prepare submissions to SBTi Services and respond to review feedback, supported by an emissions-reduction plan and progress tracking.

Site visit and worker interviews

Where the risks to people are, in the languages the people speak.

Translation and local-law check

French, Dutch and Chinese, with local counsel where the law differs.

Two ways to work with us

A clear goal. A focused project.

Defined scope, around twelve weeks

For a priority with a deadline: a report, an audit or a new obligation. We agree the outcome, the evidence behind it and who signs it off, then hand over controls your team runs on its own.

Fixed fee, quoted after the scoping note. Milestones and acceptance criteria agreed before work starts.

Advice as your priorities evolve

Ongoing, two to six days a month

For senior leadership on sustainability, human rights, data or AI, without a full-time hire. We join your team as a fractional lead to set priorities with you, guide decisions and keep progress on track as rules and expectations change.

Monthly fee, based on the days reserved. Starts on its own or follows on from a project.
